1. Who we are
meiocg.org is the website of Meta Insider OCG (MEIOCG, “we”, “us”), an independent Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG publication based in the Philippines. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
2. Information we collect
You can read meiocg.org without an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or other profile information to browse it.
When you visit, our hosting and network providers receive the technical information any website needs to deliver a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the time of the request and the page requested. They may use it to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.
3. Information stored on your device
The site stores a few small preferences in your browser, not on our servers:
- Your light or dark mode choice (local storage).
- Whether you have already opened the Pixelate promotion during this visit (session storage).
Site search runs entirely in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to us.
You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
4. Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and images from our file hosting provider, so those services receive the technical request information described above. Our hosting provider may also use technical cookies or protection services, such as email address obfuscation, to keep the site secure.
We link to services such as Facebook, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, X, Yuyu-tei and Google Play. If you open one, its own privacy policy applies.
5. KodeX and Duel Synapse
KodeX (kodex.meiocg.org) and its Android app have their own privacy policy, which explains what the app stores on your device. Read it at kodex.meiocg.org/privacy-policy.html.
6. Tournament results and NRS
The National Ranking System publishes player names, placements and deck choices from tournament results that communities or shops have made public or sent to us. If you would like your name corrected or removed from published rankings, email us and we will review the request.
7. How we use information
We use information only to run, secure and improve the website and to publish community results. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the site to build advertising profiles.
8. Children
meiocg.org is a general-audience publication and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
